OPT: Outdoor Payment Terminal
It is classified as an outdoor payment kiosk and usually it is installed at the gas station forecourt, beside the fuel dispenser.
It allows to perform payment at the pump with or without the needs of operator with different method of payment such as: Cash Card, Debit Card, Credit Card, Fleet Card, Vouchers, mobile wallet.
It is directly interfaced to the fuel dispenser thus it allows preset the amount of fuel to be dispensed and directly collect the amount to be paid without the need of operator inputs
OPT will also lock the dispenser and authorise it automatically only when a valid payment card is used thus preventing frauds or thefts

WHAT OPT CAN DO
- Payment Booth: can be used as an forecourt electronic terminal which allow operator to preset amount or volume to certain dispenser and accept payment in cash or card.
- OPT stands for Outdoor Payment Terminal. It allows to make payment for fuel at the dispensing pump and it can work in attended or unattended mode.
- Attended mode: also called Full Service mode. In this case the OPT act as the user interface to bridge the operator between the customer and the pump. Always requires Operator.
- Unattended mode: also called Self Service Mode. In this case there is NO operator and the Customer fill up and pay him/her self at the dispensing pump by means of the OPT which act as the interface between the pump and the end user (customer). OPERATOR NOT NEEDED.
